In 2020, I spent a lot of time wandering the State Parks and Forests across New England, mainly in  Massachusetts and Connecticut. This view was from my first hike in Connecticut at Shenipsit State Forest after growing up “hiking” in Florida. The steepness of the “easy” trail was no joke.
